This is a FREE, advanced beginner crochet pattern for a morning star (spike ball) accessory. This pattern includes written AND video instructions. This pattern is best used in tandem with my slouchy, solid or bouncy jester hat patterns.

There are 3 available sizes. Here are my recommendations if you're following one of my jester hat patterns:

Small: ±3 inches wide, best to decorate a slouchy jester hat;
Medium: ±4 inches wide, best to decorate a solid jester hat;
Large: ±5 inches wide, best to decorate a bouncy jester hat.

Difficulty: 2.75/10 (advanced beginner).

Terminology: USA.

Knowledge required: slip stitches, chains, single crochets, SC increases and basic sewing knowledge.
